Ramos likely to make Klopp's birthday invite list 🎂

Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool are, in fact, not on a revenge tour in Madrid.The two clubs have had a frosty relationship ever since Sergio Ramos dared to tackle Salah in 2018. Manchester City are in the market for a new striker and just as luck would have it, a prominent young striker will have the opportunity to trial at the Etihad tonight. Haaland has already had his Dad and agent offering him to clubs around Europe. Pep, pretending he hasn’t spent the GDP of medium sized European nations on players since his arrival, hinted at the possibility that City could spend £100m on a player one day 🙄Haaland showed up to Manchester with a blue bagall but confirming the move to City.

The main highlights from the weekend were Chelsea getting thrashed by bottom of the table West Brom, leaving Rudiger and Kepa to settle problems on the training ground, Mourinho held nothing back when responding to a question regarding his teams usually defending well... “Same coach, different players” 👀Manchester United’s fortune with penalties doesn’t extend to former United players.JLingz solo run from inside his own halffurther solidifying his seat on the plane to the Euros.

The race for top four heats up with five points separating 4th and 8th with Everton (8th), still having a game in hand.WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS RECAP 🌍Eastern Europe stood tall with North Macedonia giving Germany their first qualifying defeat in 20 years, Spain having toovercompensate for their personal short-comings by spelling out Kosovo’s name in lower-caseanda lack of VAR leavingSerbia joint top of Group A with Portugal.Elsewhere, Switzerland might be famous for precision watches but that attention to detail does not extend to football goals as they used a goal that was 10 cms too talland had to change it just before kick off and Keiran Tierney provided a hat-trick of assists as Scotland stay in 2nd place in Group F.The full standings for European qualifiers. LA LIGA 🇪🇸

Barcelona won last night thanks to a last minute goal from Dembele putting them one point behind Atleti at the top of La Liga.Sevilla, after beating Atleti on the weekend, are now 12 points ahead of 5th place Real Betis, all but guaranteeing them a crack at Champions League football next season. However, the main story from the weekend comes from the Cadiz - Valencia game where we once again saw racism at the highest level of the game.

The incident puts another stain on the game.The Marca cover with the lonely image of Diakhaby with the words “You are not alone”.Robert Palomar of Marca wrote that the image of Diakhaby in the stands “while others played on is a thrashing to humanity” and a “universal defeat”, arguing Valencia should have sacked off the game and taken a stand regardless of the points on offer(they lost the game anyway). We see this time and again where clubs are willing to take the high-road unless points, silverware, or money are up for grabs.Cala, the player accused of racism, is set to have a press conference today explaining/ defending himself.This bit of regular racism in top flight football comes only weeks after Ranger’s Glen Kamara was racially abused by a Slavia Prague player.
